Moses Baskets...

Your baby will find a moses basket a cosy way to sleep, and you will find it safe and not nearly as heavy as other options.  Baskets can be made from both maize and wicker. 

For your ease and comfort the baskets have handles so that you can move them with no trouble at all.  The moses baskets on our site include a fabric-covered hood to protect the baby, a moses basket mattress and a set of moses baskets bedding.

Moses baskets may be placed directly on the floor, or they may be placed at bed level through moses baskets stands which are available separately.

We say:

• A moses basket is very portable: easy to move from room to room
• Your baby may feel more secure in a Moses basket than a cot

 You should carry the basket with two hands, one under the basket supporting the baby and one holding the handles together.  If you worry about the ability of the basket to hold the weight of your child, remove them from the basket before you move it.

A tip for parents hoping to get their baby into the cot:  start putting the moses basket inside the cot after the baby has already gone to sleep.
